Financial Controller, Financial Institution Start-Up, London, £80 - 90k + Bonus + 15% pension
I am working exclusively with a recently founded Financial Institution formed by the UK's top retail banks alongside the FCA. This is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified Financial Controller to make a real impact and be at the forefront of the UK's financial access.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance and working closely CFO, you would be responsible for managing all of the day-to-day finance operations of the business. This role has incredible senior stakeholder engagement, with an opportunity to present to the board alongside strong internal visibility.
This is a hands-on financial control role, overseeing the external audit, implementing financial strategies and policies and building a robust controls environment.
There is an outsourced finance team completing the transactional finance and management reporting. You are responsible for overseeing, advising, and providing direction to this outsourced team.
They offer great flexibility being a predominantly work from home business looking for someone to visit their central London location 1 day per week (occasionally 2)!

To be successful in this role - you will need:
- 3+ years Post Qualified Experience
- UK GAAP
- Experience in a non-banking sector
- Property/Leasing industry experience would be a bonus!
