Cedar has partnered with a private equity backed legal tech organisation, based in the City of London. They are currently seeking a highly experienced Interim Financial Analyst to help drive an increased focus on product performance and identify opportunities during a new system implementation.

Salary: £220 - £280 a day (PAYE)

Location: London (Hybrid)

Start date: ASAP

This role is for an initial 6-month contract, focusing on the analysis of financial data, providing forecasting reports whilst driving continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities:

Analysing and consolidating financial data and ensuring they meet company goals
Providing alternatives and recommendations to reduce cost and improve financial performance
Assist monthly reporting process, compiling financials interrogating data and proving insight into accounts
Assist with audit requests to ensure robust reporting function
Summarising data efficiently and presenting reports to seniors
Establishing and evaluating records, statements and profit plans
Long and short-term forecasting to identify performance trends and financial risk, and make recommendations to budget holders
Taking the lead of reporting revenue recognition, profit and loss statements, overhead expenses and currency revaluations
Support quarterly reporting to owners on KPIs and business performance.

Required Skills:

Extensive budgeting and forecasting experience
Strong Excel skills - comfortable handling large volumes of data
Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Able to naturally lead the improvement of processes and controls.
Excellent communication skills and confidence to provide constructive challenge where necessary.
Ability to communicate financial data and analysis concisely and engagingly
Anaplan system experience (Desirable)
