A leading hospitality company head quartered in central London are seeking a FInancial accountant with strong multi site experience to join their growing team. The company offers great opportunities for progression as well as a fast paced yet friendly atmosphere to work in.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Drive the timely and accurate completion of period-end close and group consolidation covering the stages from transactional delivery through to management reporting.
·Take responsibility for Balance Sheet control, reconciliations and postings.
·Develop and maintain the Group Fixed Asset Register. Monitor and maintain Capex controls processes and report periodically on the Capex position.
·Process improvements to deliver best in class financial and operational control.
·Prepare all VAT, PAYE, PSA and P11D returns and ensure all related payments are made on a timely basis.
·Ensure Capital Allowances are claimed appropriately
·Prepare all Government statistical returns on a timely basis.
·Liaise with the external auditors as part of the year end audit process to ensure it is completed on time and that any identified issues are communicated to the Finance Manager and Financial Controller on a timely basis.
·Prepare the year end consolidation and statutory accounts for all Group companies
·Prepare the year-end tax disclosures and then work with the Group's tax adviser to ensure timely preparation of all Group corporation tax computations and returns.
·Collaborate and develop strong working relationships with other functional teams across Finance (e.g. Accounts Payable, Payroll and Commercial Finance) and the wider business (e.g. HR, Procurement) to build commercial understanding and to deliver project work such as bonus and rebate calculations.

*Relevant sector experience would be advantageous - Hospitality, Leisure, multi-site Retail or FMCG
