The Role
As Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in preparing the annual consolidated statutory financial statements under IFRS.
- Craft standalone statutory financial statements for overseas subsidiaries.
- Create monthly and quarterly consolidated financial schedules under IFRS, crucial for internal and shareholder reporting.
- Seamlessly collaborate with financial reporting teams of UK and overseas subsidiaries, ensuring timely and accurate information.
- Execute monthly journal entries with precision and agility.
- Manage intercompany transactions and monthly reconciliations to uphold financial harmony.
- Collaborate with external auditors, resolving audit queries efficiently.
Your Profile
To excel in this role, you should ideally have:
- A distinguished accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA/CIMA/CA).
- Proven experience in crafting meticulous financial statements and adeptly handling complex financial data.
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both financial and non-financial teams.
- Strong analytical abilities to provide valuable insights into performance variances.
- A professional track record for which the day rate of £400-450, reflects both your value and your dedicated commitment to the role.
