What interesting things you will be involved in:
Reporting into a fast-tracked Senior Finance Manager, this is a unique opportunity to join this high-profile specialist team of 3, in a role giving you exposure to all functions of the business, partnering Commercial Directors daily and working on the biggest global contracts in the business.
You will provide sound financial advise on structuring the finances of commercial contracts, provide financial leadership and analysis to the business in understanding the accounting implications of complex contractual positions, finding unique solutions to problems to reduce the risk to the business's finances.
There is no posting of journals or BAU financial reporting, but you will create and present key management reports on the financial position of the Global Business division to the CFO, supporting Exec level stakeholders in maximising financial performance.

What skills you will need to be successful in this Finance Manager role:
- Qualified ACA/CA accountant
- Strong technical knowledge and understating of accounting standards particularly IFRS 15 and IFRS 16
- Excellent stakeholder management with the gravitas to win the respect and confidence of colleagues and senior stakeholders up to Exec/Director level
- Attention to detail as well as the ability to connect the dots and identify commercial opportunities and risks
- Good Excel skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
