Finance Business Partner - Media & Entertainment - Central London - £55-60k + excellent benefits

An exclusive role with a Global Media business in the heart of London. The UK business is a major player in the B2C Entertainment and Media space with several household name consumer brands and events in their portfolio.

In this role you will be the lead business partner for one of the Media division's key strategic business areas. You will get to develop under an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner and Head of Commercial Finance, having ownership for specialist commercial and capex deals models, partnering Commercial Directors in Operations daily. The role will also interact with stakeholders outside of the business in the support of large commercial contracts, and making sure the economics of the programmes are clearly analysed and understood.

This young, high-performing team have a real buzz and are known for driving positive value add across the business, being involved in all commercial and strategic decisions. The business regularly acquires new brands - and this creates exciting project work for the Finance team so there is never a dull moment. The turnover has doubled over the last 3 years due to organic growth and acquisition, with c.£900M in gross revenue.

The business is known for driving internal progression, and will allow the opportunity to move into other commercial finance teams in as little as 12 months. You will join a multi-cultural, gender-balanced friendly and supportive team, in a dress-down non-corporate Media environment, that allows flexible working for everyone (3 days max. in the office).

To be successful in this role you will need to be:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • An approachable and confident individual who enjoys working in a sociable team and has proven experience partnering senior management or non-finance stakeholders
  • The ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, and not being fazed by colleagues working in Jeans, T-shirts, Hoodies and the like
  • An interest in Media, Entertainment or Music is an added bonus - as this means you are likely to be a great fit with their buzzing creative Media culture!
