Finance Analyst - Tech Scaleup - City of London - £50-60k + 10% bonus + flexible working

A hypergrowth Technology scale-up is looking for a Finance Analyst for a newly created position driving new processes and partnering Senior non-finance stakeholders.

At only 10 years old they are the leading scale-up in their market, with operations across 15 countries in EMEA - designing and building Technology for top-tier clients such as Amazon.

Reporting directly to the Finance Lead with a dotted line to the Finance Director, you will join a young and rapidly growing team reviewing analysis with, and challenging, Senior Management, while supervising and mentoring junior members of the team.

You will business partner country managers, helping them understand their cash flow spend, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes as well as a transition onto Anaplan, and analysing variances while being fully involved in various construction project finances.

With £3Bn in new capital raised from large PE and Institutional investors, and having 2X in revenue in 2020, the business is on a massive growth trajectory, is set to go through a transaction in the next few years with £1.7Bn capital spend for next year of which you will be fully involved in managing.

Essential skills needed to be successful in this role:

  • Qualified Accountant, or soon to be (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Confidence to partner and challenge Senior Management
  • Comfortable with change, able to operate in an expanding young and dynamic scale-up organisation, rapidly increasing responsibility early on as the company grows
  • Experience in construction costing, project finance or Capex spend is a huge bonus
