Intro
Cedar is currently partnered with a large well known media business to secure an Interim Finance Analyst, on a remote basis. The role is a 12- month Fixed Term Contract, paying a salary of £60-65K.

The Role
As Interim Finance Analyst, you will:
- Ensure costs are accurately reported, and variances to budget and forecasts are recorded and fully understood.
- Production of budgets, forecasts, and plans.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual cost KPI reports.
- Prepare and provide packs/reports to deliver analysis and discuss with the business.
- Maintain a high level of focus on data quality and accuracy ensuring analysis provided to the is of the highest standard.
- Understanding risks and opportunities to improve profit for the business.
- Support with any ad-hoc data analysis requests e.g. investment appraisals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives; and measure and realise sustainable benefits.
Your Profile
You will ideally have:
- A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA)·
- Excellent analytical skills and familiarity with accounting and financial concepts
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience of managing relationships and working closely with other accounting departments
- Prior experience in an interim / 12- month Fixed Term Contract role would be beneficial but not necessary.
- The salary of £60-65K represents a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate.
