Cedar are supporting a Public Sector organisation who are on the look for an eSourcing Implementation Lead on an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract (with a high potential to be converted into a permanent position if of interest). This role will be predominantly home based with expectations to go into the office a couple of days per month (in line with government guidance). This role offers a salary up to £50,000 per annum on offer plus additional benefits such as a car allowance (£5,400 per annum) plus more.

The role of the eSourcing Implementation Lead will be to support the delivery of a new eSourcing solution for the business which will become centre to all Procurement activity. The successful candidate will be directly responsible for managing from end-to-end, raising issues as required for resolution or escalation. This position is responsible for the organisation and delivery of systems implementation, with the assistance from project support. While being predominantly internally focused, this position requires a strong communication skills in order to execute and deliver a successful project.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

  • Significant experience in project delivery roles with systems, ideally within the Public Sector
  • Demonstrable experience in procurement change management
  • Experience of working within the public sector and working knowledge of procurement regulations is preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and data models, preferably within the public sector or large corporate
