Key Responsibilities:
Driving Procurement digitalization/digital transformation in procurement. This will include programme managing the process of utilizing digital technologies to automate, streamline, and optimize various aspects of a clients procurement function. This involves the integration of digital tools, platforms, and processes to enhance efficiency, transparency, and collaboration in procurement activities. The goal is to accelerate progress in procurement, developing procurement ecosystems, and creating perpetual momentum. In doing so using procurement technology and data sourcing/selection at scale and speed. You will be expected to be able to sell the consultancies in-house solutions when appropriate.
This may include:
- Leading and managing a portfolio of client engagements and solutions from digital procurement strategy, op models and transformation plans to spec, scout and sourcing digital solutions
- Be an expert in digital procurement and the supply market for digital procurement technologies and services
- Champion the business as the platform to define the digital procurement ecosystem and accelerate digital progress in procurement
- Live the team values of ambition, creativity, authenticity, determination and collaboration
- Leading delivery of digital procurement transformation with our clients and enterprise software solutions
- Passionate about understanding clients objectives and their challenges and shaping your solutions to help them achieve their business aims
Key Skills:
- Innovative with a digital first approach, from mindset to operational experience in agile ways of working
- A depth of experience in digital procurement, with previous experience in a role focused on technology procurement, ideally with consulting experience or in mature, bluechip environments. Experience with sourcing SaaS solutions is useful
- An ability to quickly gain credibility through strong communication skills and an ability to sell solutions
- Useful to have worked with major procurement software solutions like Coupa, Ariba and Ivalua
- For more experienced candidates. A strong track record in leading sourcing and scaling initiatives for new digital solutions to create new digital procurement ecosystems would be favourable
- Enthusiasm, ambition, confidence and an ability to present well - entrepreneurial mindset
- Previous consultancy experience
- A genuine interest and expertise in digital procurement solutions, tools and tech such as AI, blockchain
- An advanced analytical ability and interest in data and automation
- Degree/CIPS/Grad Scheme/Equivalent qualification
