Position: Financial Data Analyst
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
Salary: 30,000 Bulgarian Lev

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to rapidly interpret and synthesize financial data from both textual and numerical sources.
  • Exceptional online research skills with a deep understanding of advanced search engine techniques.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and adherence to predefined standards.
  • Proficiency in cross-checking and validating information from multiple sources.
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly in Excel and other data manipulation and visualization tools.
  • A degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields.

Summary of Role:

As a Financial Data Analyst, you will be an integral part of our team, engaging in the following key responsibilities:

  • Tracking, researching, and documenting global project finance transactions within our comprehensive databases.
  • Contributing to both internal and external reports that provide insights into project finance and infrastructure markets.
  • Developing expertise in project finance and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of data input and management within assigned regions, sectors, and datasets.
  • Monitoring IJGlobal news, research, and third-party sources for transaction-related information.
  • Cultivating relationships with market stakeholders to gather additional insights into transactions, assets, companies, and other relevant datasets.
  • Creating and maintaining a database of contacts related to the assigned regions and sectors.
  • Conducting retroactive data cleansing, ensuring accuracy within transactions, assets, companies, and other datasets based on subsequent information.
  • Utilizing JIRA reporting for real-time data management and reporting.
  • Participating in ad-hoc tasks, temporary projects, and report generation for both internal and client-facing purposes.
  • Accomplishing additional duties as assigned by the immediate manager.
