Role: Credit Control Manager
12 month FTC
Location: Leeds
Hybrid: 3 days in the office
Salary: £50,000-£70,000 (depending on relevant experience)

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller
We have partnered with an education company who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Managing 4 credit controllers, setting objectives, structuring work and providing guidance and support as needed.
- Training the team on systems and processes for best in class credit control.
- Regularly reviewing the process and procedures to reduce debtor days and streamline processes across the Group, ensuring these are documented.
- Formulation and implementing of the company's credit policy
- Provide regular reporting and analysis on the status of outstanding debts and collections activities (including setting cash collection targets and predicting cash collection).
- Recommend necessary write-offs and bad debt provisions
- Build strong relationships and work closely with Sales and Finance to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements:
- Previous experience managing a team is essential for this role
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships.
- Enthusiasm and proven ability of introducing and implementing new policies and processes
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP's and Pivot Tables)
- Experience working with Salesforce billing, Zuora or Chargebee would be beneficial.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic, adaptable and dedicated professional with solid credit control management experience and enthusiasm for team development and implementing policies and procedures to lead the team.
