Cedar are currently looking for a Credit Control Assistant to join a company that is formed of a group of ambitious, high-growth, award-winning businesses based in Central London.
Our client will provide the ideal Credit Controller with an excellent work environment for training and development.
The main purpose of this role is to support the Senior Credit Controller in managing the credit control function in order to improve cash flow and minimise bad debts.
Role Responsibilities
- Working on aged unallocated cash to resolution
- Appropriately target brokers in accordance with the credit control policies at 30+ days overdue.
- Liaise closely and build relationships with key brokers to improve cash flows.
- Liaise closely with the underwriting teams to resolve queries at the earliest opportunity -manage to resolution and escalate where applicable.
- Feedback on query resolution to assist in Root Cause Analysis
- Assist the cashiers in the identification of unknown items for posting to the policy management system in a timely manner.
- Process broker refund requests
- Work to set KPI's and objectives
Person specification
- MUST have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience within Credit Control
- Basic knowledge of accounting terminology
- Must demonstrate willingness to learn and work hard when required
- Team player
- High level organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Prioritisation ability
Offer
- Salary - £30,000 to £32,000 per annum
- Location - Central London
- Hybrid working - 2 days in the office
