ROLE: Corporate Tax Accountant

SALARY: £55,000 - £70,000



We have partnered with a leading property company based in London who are looking to add a Corporate Tax Accountant to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with some in-house experience OR candidates in practice looking to make a move to in-house, especially with a keen interest in real-estate.

As the Corporate Tax Accountant, you will focus on preparing and filing UK corporation tax returns and partnership returns for a portfolio of entities, alongside working closely with the Corporate Tax Manager and the Director of Tax, enabling you to gain valuable exposure and progress through the ranks.


  • Prepare UK Corporation tax computations (partnerships and corporate) and filing.
  • Assist with preparation of statutory tax notes disclosures for UK companies under FRS102, tax provisioning process and provide support as required on tax accounting and reporting.
  • Assist in preparing group relief matrix, REIT financial statements, review PID tax deductions and review Forms R185
  • Adhering to the Tax function's process and procedure manuals
  • Review of group's VAT returns from time to time.
  • Prepare tax payments for Treasury.
  • Assist with ad hoc tax queries.
  • Other ad hoc tax work as required relating to the groups own tax affairs requested by the Tax Manager/Director of Tax.


  • Accounting or Tax Qualification (ACA/ACCA/CTA/ATT) - desirable.
  • Proven experience of preparing corporate tax returns - either in private practice or within industry.
  • Ability to organise and manage challenging priorities and collaborate with the wider team.
  • OneSource Corporation Tax experience or experience with tax returns software.
  • IT proficient, with strong Excel skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Some demonstrable Real Estate experience is desirable.
  • The role will suit a first move into industry or in-house move.
  • Keen to learn more about UK taxes in a commercial environment.
  • Good communication skills & customer-centric attitude.
  • Comfortable working in a small team and being an all-rounder.
