Commercial Finance Manager - Publishing - Central London - £60k + bonus + hybrid working

A distinguished publishing company are searching for a Commercial Finance Manager with strong communication and leadership skills. This is a well-established global company with offices all around the UK, Ireland, and the US, which is continuously smashing financial targets.

The role is very forward-looking with a broad reach covering the budgeting and forecasting process, business partnering and presenting to stakeholders. Additionally, the Commercial Finance Manager will be responsible for one junior commercial analyst, helping them grow and integrate more fully into the business.

The company is highly acquisitive with almost monthly acquisitions of products and texts where the Commercial Finance Manager will have a key seat at the table, being the first of contact for non-finance teams and preparing P&Ls for future acquisitions. Along with this exposure, the role involves working closely with the senior publishing team, board members and the Managing Director so the opportunity to build a strong profile and progress your career is huge!

This is a fantastic opportunity for any recently qualified ACA's from practice looking for a super commercial role in industry or a qualified accountant with prior relevant experience within industry.

Experience & background:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Experience in a people-management position (at least 1 direct report)
  • Bright, ambitious, and switched-on
  • Keen interest in and passion for publishing and the creative industry
