Cedar supporting a Private Sector organisation based in Manchester who are on the look for a Category Manager for their ICT category. This is a permanent role that will require you to be in the office 2 days per week. This role is offering a salary of up to £60,000 per annum and a range of benefits which includes a £5,000 bonus.
Reporting into the Head of Procurement the successful candidate will be required to own and deliver an effective ICT category strategy for the organisation. You will be required to work with key stakeholders within the business to help build a pipeline that helps drive value, innovation and continuous improvement for the company and help support, educate and drive best in class commercial practice. Additionally to this, when required, you will be tasked with supporting key projects that are non-ICT related.
Candidates applying for this role MUST HAVE:
- a strong understanding of and track records of delivering results in the ICT category
- a strong understanding of category management methodologies and procurement processes
- strong stakeholder management, project management and communication skills
- ideally working towards or obtained CIPS qualified (beneficial)
