Associate - Strategy and Corporate Development - Paris - Technology

Cedar has been mandated for a very exciting project that requires sourcing an Associate to join a newly created strategy and corporate development team. You will help lead strategy and corporate development activities and facilitate strategic decision making and cross-functional execution for the business units. The client, a telecommunications powerhouse, has enjoyed exponential growth throughout Europe. This will be ideal for somebody coming from consulting or investment banking looking to move in-house within a truly strategic role and exposure to private equity.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading strategy and corporate development activities, facilitating strategic decision making and cross-functional execution by working closely with other group functions and business units.
  • Prepare and develop management board and investor presentations and decision papers.
  • Supporting and leading execution of M&A transactions and strategic partnerships including preparation of investment cases, development and review of due diligence reports, financial analysis and overall process coordination.
  • Developing and managing detailed financial and operating models in close coordination with finance and relevant business units.
  • Collect, analyse and structure relevant strategic market information.
  • Support program management and organizational transformation by overseeing and executing complex projects and collaborating with cross functional teams within Group.

Requirements:

  • Keen interest within technology or telecoms
  • 3 years of relevant work experience in Management Consultancy, Investment Banking, or Corporate Development department
  • Fluent in English and French
