Role: Junior Investment Accountant at a Global Accountancy Firm

Salary: £24,000 to £26,000

Permanent and Full time role offering hybrid working - 3 days in the office and 2 days from home *

Location: Leatherhead

We have partnered with a growing global Accountancy firm who are offering a rare and exciting opportunity to join their Wealth Reporting Team.

The Junior Investment Accountant will support a long standing and successful team to deliver a tailored service to their Ultra High Net Wealth (UHNW) clients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, AAT level 3/ 4 qualified and have at least 6 months bookkeeping experience within a finance team. (Please note that study support will not be available)

Responsibilities include

  • Working closely with our investment accountants, to sign off on client records on a daily or monthly basis
  • Day to day filing and archiving
  • Assisting in the preparation of wealth reports, performance reports, expenditure analysis and management accounts, depending upon the client.
  • Bookkeeping client accounts and managing the data capture process for investment manager and bank statements, through a variety of methods from manual posting to automated data interfaces
  • Responsibility for data integrity, performing the first reconciliation of bank records vs our systems.
  • General administration on behalf of clients, such as cash flow analysis and raising payments.
  • Development of processes and procedures to accommodate changing client requirements

Person specification/Requirements

The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Have previous bookkeeping or back-office experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be well organised and able to manage different priorities
  • Have the desire to always produce work of the highest quality on a timely basis
  • Have the initiative to work independently or as part of a team
  • Be interested in an accounting or investment career

*Due to extensive training, the appointed candidate will be expected in the office 5 days per week. Once training is completed, hybrid working will be available.
