Role: Assistant Financial Controller

Contract: 6-9 months

Rate: £450-£500 umbrella

Location: North West London

Hybrid working: 3 days in the office

Cedar have partnered with a leading transportation group in their search for an assistant financial controller. This role will be for an initial 6 month contract where you will be report to the FC and manage a transactional team of 4.

As assistant financial controller, you will be responsible for:

• Manage the production of monthly management accounts and variance analysis for multiple entities
• Manage a team of 4 transactional staff (AP/AR)
• Statutory accounting
• Support in preparing reports, reconciliations and supporting documents for audits
• Review of the balance sheet

Person:

• Qualified accountant
• Strong month end/year end accounting experience
• Used to working in large/complex businesses with multiple entities
• Available at short notice
• Can commute to North West London 3 days per week
