Cedar are partnered with a large leisure business based in North West London who are urgently looking to appoint an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the Accounts Payable team. You will be responsible for the control and maintenance of all areas of the group's payables ledgers.
Main duties -
- Supervise, coordinate and review the payments at the proposed payment stage
- Own and communicate AP policies and processes to the business and suppliers
- Supervise and development of the Accounts Payable function including setting objectives, monitoring performance
- Review and resolve complex accounts through investigations with the business and the supplier
- Build and manage the relationships with key stakeholders
- Lead process and control improvement changes
- Manage systems improvements and coordinate testing and training
Skills & experience -
- Experience of supervising an Accounts Payable team
- High volume processing experience
- Experience of working in an automated environment - EDI, Purchase order system
- Building and managing strong relationships both internally and with external organisations
- Experience of Proactis purchase to pay system
- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains
- Extensive experience of Excel and manipulation of data
- Implementation of process improvements
- Sound commercial judgement
- Excellent level of customer service
- Ability to manage change
The reward -
- £45,000 to £50,000 per annum - experience dependant
- Hybrid working model (office based Tuesday to Thursday)
