Role: Accounts Assistant (Payroll)
Location: Central London
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 + Study Support
Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office
Industry: Logistics
Responsibilities:
- Processing total employee life cycle in payroll, P45 to P45
- Calculating and processing all statutory payments and entitlements in accordance with the current legislations
- Ensuring compliance with the taxation of employee benefits
- Preparation and review of VAT returns. Responsible for over 30 VAT clients.
- Processing invoices and reconciling bank accounts.
- Submitting VAT returns & Confirmation Statements.
- Liaising with HMRC to resolve queries.
Requirements:
- Studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP's and Pivot Tables)
- Experience working in financial services is desirable
