Are you currently studying AAT and plan to carry on towards a professional qualification? Are you looking for your next finance role where you can grow and develop within the team? You will be an integral member of the financial accounts team, supporting and reporting to the Financial Accountant of a highly recognisable leisure company based in Surrey.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

·AAT studier, preferably already having passed L2 & L3
·Willingness to take ownership
·Ambition and desire to grow
·Clearly accountable for duties and keen to learn & develop

·Team player & cooperative nature

Key responsibilities

·Processing expenses; personal and corporate claims
·Resolution of queries from the business
·Chasing overdue accounts
·Assisting with testing / go live transition of new System
·Supporting Intercompany debit notes and collating required back up
·Balance sheet reconciliations
·Assist with Downloading and updating/coding excel cash books
·Assist with Processing of stock transfer sheets
·Assist with Processing urgent one off payments
·Assist with Costs analysis
·Preparation of EC Sales and IntraStat

Skills and Knowledge required

·Minimum of 1 years' experience working in a finance department
·Can demonstrate key accounting skills by practical experience
·Excellent communicator; ability to deal with a variety of people on various levels
·Strong excel skills
·Work to and meet deadlines
·Ability to use initiative to resolve problems
·Have a proactive, helpful & friendly outlook with a flexible approach
·Extremely organised and methodical
·Ability to multi task and demonstrate a high level of accuracy
