Accounting Policy Analyst - PE backed Financial Services scale-up - City of London

A unique opportunity to join a double-digit growth PE backed Financial Services company that is set to IPO in the next 12 months. In just over 15 years this London Headquartered Group now has 1,800 employees across 36 offices worldwide.

This newly created position will report into the Head of Accounting (who reports to the Group CFO) helping to establish and develop the Accounting Policy function as the company continues an acquisition spree and readies themselves for a major stock market listing.

With 30% revenue growth and £1Bn revenue, the business has had annual double-digit growth in revenue and profit for the last several years - and there is never a dull moment in Finance due to several acquisitions over the last few years.

This broad role will Partner with the Head of Accounting, assisting in the delivery of Accounting memos, providing technical accounting summaries for transactions, and create and manage the process of putting together a reporting framework. You will partner with senior stakeholders to understand the nature of the transactions and become an effective business partner to senior individuals within the firm.

To be successful in this role you will need to be:

• A qualified accountant
• Have strong technical knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting matters
• Enjoy being involved in tackling technical accounting challenges and problem solving
