Senior Buyer - External Manufacturing Europe
External Manufacturing Senior Buyer As part of the Procurement Team for External Manufacturing, the Senior Buyer will be responsible for a portfolio of External Manufacturing Suppliers at European level. The role is to develop and implement sourcing strategies as well as create strong relationship with the different internal stakeholders in Marketing and R&D to efficiently support and drive the innovation pipeline. The position will also be responsible for managing high profile projects to support business continuity strategies and cost reduction programs as well as the management of COG's and payment terms in support of net revenue, gross margin and NWC improvement. Key Responsibilities * Support Quality and Regulatory to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, as well as company standards * Secure supply chain on existing portfolio with implementation of Service Level Agreements * Develop a strong Business Continuity Pipeline to secure service * Support New Product Development to launch on time and at competitive prices * Own the financial performance in terms of purchasing price variance * Conduct benchmark studies with factories and other Suppliers * Achieve optimum costs while ensuring high level of quality/service targets. * Implement tools to monitor suppliers' performance and work with them to achieve high standards * Develop in depth knowledge of the technologies and supply base for own portfolio * Define a strategy to meet company objectives in terms of Compliance, Quality, Service, Net Revenue growth and Cost optimization. * Gain management and stakeholders support for proposed strategies. Lead their implementation and regularly report on progress senior management Qualifications * Master degree in business, manufacturing, engineering, finance or other relevant discipline. * 3 to 5 years of relevant Procurement experience in a fast-paced environment - previous experience with External Manufacturing is a plus. * Strong negotiating, influencing and communication skills. * Strong project management skills * Demonstrated success in completing business improvement projects such as cost reductions and business simplification processes. * Autonomous and self-starter * Must have the ability to lead cross functionally with Marketing, Supply, R&D and Finance to promote change, drive efficiencies and make cost savings impact on the business. * Structured, analytical and results-oriented * Proficient in Excel * Able to effectively communicate and to effect change with internal budget owners, peers, senior management and suppliers. * Ability to work in a truly global organization. Proven experience in working in a fast moving and results driven environment which demands to work under continuous pressure. * Willing to travel frequently * Fluency in English is a must.

Procurement Manager, Licensing - FTSE 100 Consumer Goods The role has responsibility for the global commercial lead and activities of a number of strategic new projects involving Licensing, Technologies and know-how, for all Powerbrands. A crucial responsibility is to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholder at very senior level The role has significant impact on the company's revenues and profits as most project have the potential to become global blockbusters. Particular emphasis must be placed on reaching optimal results in a difficult and often restricted environment where relationship and stakeholder management is core for achieving the company targets for launch of new products. Within this restrictive environment, it is expected that the candidate will independently be able to negotiate terms that are according to company requirements and operating model, and secure new projects are brought in on time and on budget, while ensuring Procurement compliance to internal and legislative procedures. Key Challenges Build and maintain close relationship with key internal stakeholders and external decision makers Understanding various aspects of negotiation and how to reach optimal results even with limited or no alternative options available Protect business interests and early highlighting and resolution of potential risks Deliver CoG's and other business terms to meet GM and project requirement Professional Qualifications / Experience In-depth experience of Procurement, at least 3-4 years, in a multi-country environment. Commodity (External Manufacturing, Raws, Pack, etc) experience desirable. Experience in working independently in complex project teams essential Degree qualified preferably in Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Business or other relevant discipline. Ability to work in a truly global organisation. Proven experience of working in a fast moving and result driven environment which demands to work under pressure most of the time. High degree of fluency of English is required for negotiations and internal communications. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage. High level negotiation, influencing and communication skills.
