Finance Manager (Asia), PE Backed AgriTech, London, £60-65k + bonus

I am exclusively partnering with a leading, private equity-backed company that’s dominating its market. Following a recent strategic acquisition and continued expansion across Asia, the Group is positioned for substantial growth and innovation in global markets.

As Finance Manager – Asia, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the Group’s growth in the region. With finance operations in Asia delivered via a third-party provider, your core focus will be ensuring robust financial reporting in line with IFRS and Group standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and confident stakeholder management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting delivered by the third-party provider to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Group standards
• Manage local accounting matters, including lease arrangements and new accounting developments
• Perform key balance sheet reconciliations, particularly around intercompany positions
• Coordinate local expense reporting and support consolidation processes
• Liaise with auditors, preparing required evidence and documentation
• Use global finance tools to drive efficiency and standardisation
• Support the broader finance function in maintaining compliance with local fiscal and fiduciary obligations

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Excellent communication skills in English & Mandarin is an essential
• Strong background in multinational, multi-entity environments
• MUST SPEAK FLUENT MANDARIN AND ENGLISH
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g. MS Dynamics, INFOR) desirable
• Solid grasp of IFRS and financial consolidation processes
• Track record in preparing journal entries, balance sheets, and management accounts
