Head of FP&A – SaaS Permanent

Cedar has been retained by a fast-growth global SaaS business looking to appoint a Head of FP&A. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company making a meaningful impact in the L&D space and you will work closely with the Head of Finance and CFO to deliver best-in-class financial planning and analysis. You’ll act as a trusted business partner, guiding strategic decision-making and supporting efficient, data-driven growth across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted financial advisor across the business, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Lead performance analysis, management reporting, and strategic insights aligned to key business growth metrics.
• Partner with commercial and operational leaders to support sales forecasting, pipeline reviews, pricing, and margin analysis.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process and rolling monthly forecasts.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, operations, and reporting processes.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the annual FP&A strategy.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and business case development for strategic initiatives.

Skills and Experience:

• Qualified accountant ACA or equivalent with broad finance experience in the commercial sector.
• Proven financial modeling, analysis, and business partnering skills.
• Strong command of Excel and BI tools; ability to adapt quickly to new systems.
• Prior experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of SaaS business models, KPIs, and subscription revenue recognition.
• Experience leading a small team.
• Familiarity with the Xero accounting platform.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
