In 2010 this iconic brand sold a majority state in the company to one of the UK’s largest privately owned businesses in a deal which enables Gü to accelerate their growth and take the brand to new heights whilst maintaining the pace of innovation. To play a key role in these exciting growth plans Gü are seeking an exceptional Commercial Finance Manager.  Heading up the commercial finance team and reporting to the Gü Finance Director, the role will include;  Partnering with the Marketing and Sales Directors in the formulation and execution of the commercial strategy; Developing the promotional evaluation process to ensure effective use of promotional funds to support the commercial strategy; Supporting the development of new products and the control of marketing investment; Developing a full understanding of the market, explaining the monthly business performance and commercial assumptions underpinning the forward forecast; Driving the S&OP process for the commercial side of the business, challenging commercial assumptions, preparing supporting analysis and presentations.

This high profile, cross functional position requires an individual who can display genuine credibility.  A qualified accountant with a high degree of intellectual horsepower, you will be an inspirational finance professional with the credibility and emotional intelligence to build strong relationships that add significant value across the business.  Ideally, though not essential, you will have worked within the FMCG sector, though you will definitely have a demonstrable track record of providing business critical financial support to the Sales and/or Marketing teams within a dynamic, rapid growth company.
